The Aster Awards, a competition dedicated to healthcare advertising and communication, bestowed two honors to BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy in the 2021 competition.
BioPlus took home the 2021 Gold level in a new and timely category: Crisis Management (Covid-19). This award recognizes BioPlus for high-quality, timely, and relevant marketing communications to physician offices during the 2020 Covid crisis. In addition, BioPlus placed at the Silver level in the Social Media category. Special kudos go out to BioPlus’ Victora Dolby Toews, MPH, Health & PR Communication Specialist and Danielle Bakertcy, Digital Marketing Specialist.
“During these unprecedented times of Covid, this year’s competition was one of the most creative to date. With our new Covid category, there were many agencies and organizations that stepped up and offered incredible communications that were both informative and creative. We’ve all had Covid touch our lives and are looking forward to a much brighter future together. Our hats off to everyone for amazing entries,” said Melinda Lucas, Aster Awards Program Coordinator.
The Aster Awards have recognized outstanding healthcare professionals for excellence in their advertising and marketing efforts for over 20 years. A diverse panel of industry experts judged groups of similarly sized organizations to determine winning entries in this national healthcare marketing competition. Judging criteria included creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality, and overall appeal and execution.
