Our Commitment to Patient Health
BioPlus works closely with our clients and partners to develop customized services and programs. We offer a seamless process and a transparent approach to providing high-quality specialized care while managing health care costs. Our services and processes ensure that patients achieve high medication compliance which result in improved outcomes.
Customized Services Include:
Disease Therapy Management Services (DTMS):
BioPlus provides therapy specific programs to maximize payer initiatives and outcomes. These programs offer a holistic approach to patient care as we help patients manage their health condition. Our Doctors of Pharmacy and clinical staff provide counseling on side effect management, compliance, drug administration and drug storage. Patients also have access BioPlusHealth.com which provides educational materials, detail drug information and frequently asked questions.
Coordination Benefits / Formulary Support Services:
BioPlus researches and determines if a patient has access to multiple payers and copay programs. Our benefit coordinators complete this process for each patient enrolled with BioPlus. This ensures the appropriate primary, secondary and tertiary payer is billed providing potential savings to the member as well as the payers.
Partial Fill Dosing:
Due to the high cost associated with specialty medications, BioPlus implemented a partial fill program to reduce the overall expense to the member and payer. This allows our pharmacists to provide side effect management counseling with the patient prior to dispensing the subsequent fill.
BioPlus works closely with payers on benefit design, prior authorization management and assistance with preferred formularies.
Information Systems and Real Time Reporting Services:
BioPlus designed a proprietary system that integrates with our operating system that provides clinical details and metrics that are most important to our payer partners. This allows BioPlus to capture and report any type of information inclusive of overall clinical trends as well as group detailed information.
